Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Hebrews 5:7-9

A sincere heart is appreciative and willing to be taught more of who the Lord is and therefore who he is as a member of the household of faith. The deep prayer of a believer travels through the realm of timelessness with a consciousness of the Creator of all things that has graced him with the birth right of standing in His presence. The standing is actually a position or role of a priest. The priest presents to the Lord acceptable offerings, sacrifice and petitions that are in alignment with His word and with His heart.

Jesus is our High Priest. He offered intense prayers and supplications before the Father with strong crying and tears in the Garden of Gethsemane; (44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground; Luke 22:44) Prayer is about aligning your thoughts and emotions with the desires of the Father; this is why we must renew our minds through the word of God. It is the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man that avails much and makes tremendous power available. How? He focuses on the leading of the Holy Spirit to show Him the secret thoughts of the Lord.

Jesus had a desire to please the Father and He did so by laying His life down for this fallen world. He endured the suffering and embraced the Father’s will for Him to take on His flesh, the unimaginable. Choose to lay your life down by interceding on behalf of others. Clear your thoughts and allow His heart to minister to you, His desires, and began to speak them out as He brings scriptures to your remembrance. Embrace the supernatural reality that the Red Sea did split, fire fell down from heaven, angels stepped into battles and so much more! God is the same yesterday, today and forever more! The heart of the Father is eternal salvation for all who will obey Him. Believers must believe that the Father has called us to minister, (serve), through prayer, and action in obedience.
